How ROI is calculated
This page matches how the product explains returns in-app. If your numbers look off, check acquisition cost and quantity first—those drive everything else.
Cost basis
We start from what you entered as purchase price (plus anything you chose to fold in, like tax or inbound shipping). That is your basis per line, multiplied by quantity.
Market value
We pull catalog prices from marketplace data on a schedule. The product page shows when the estimate last moved. It is a compass, not a guaranteed exit price.
Net-style figures
When you use net-oriented views, we fold in typical selling fees and outbound shipping so you are not comparing a fat list print to your cost basis. Your exact fee tier still depends on where you sell—we do not have your eBay PowerSeller contract on file.
